Summit Church, located in Indiana, Pennsylvania, has experienced remarkable growth and transformation over the past decade. Under the leadership of Lead Pastor Mel Masengale, who began his tenure in January 2014, the church expanded from a weekly attendance of 70 to over 1,500 in attendance and three campuses. This significant increase is attributed to a focus on relational health, community outreach, and an emphasis on creating a welcoming environment for newcomers.
The church’s mission, encapsulated in the phrase “Every Life Made Different,” reflects its commitment to transformative experiences through faith. Summit Church offers a variety of ministries catering to different age groups and life stages, including Summit Kids, Summit Youth, and programs for young adults. These ministries are designed to foster spiritual growth and community engagement among participants.

Job description
Summit Church is seeking a Kids Pastor who is passionate about raising up the next generation of leaders, both within Summit Church and the capital "C" Church. This leader will provide oversight for all aspects of Kids Ministry and lay the foundation for what Kids Ministry will look like across all campuses.
Qualifications:

Has a track record of growing a ministry with people from multi-generational backgrounds and economic statuses.

Has experience working as an effective leader of ministry teams, with the responsibility of providing vision for volunteers.

Has experience developing and monitoring a vibrant, creative, and attractive children’s ministry that is equally focused on family-based discipleship.

Has experience with creativity in using children’s ministry curriculum.
